The Design
This case carries La Catrina — the elegant sugar-skull figure that has become Mexico's most recognised Día de los Muertos icon. First drawn by printmaker José Guadalupe Posada and later popularised by muralist Diego Rivera, she embodies a distinctly Mexican view of death: met with colour, ceremony and humour rather than fear. Here she's framed by a marigold flower crown, with lace-like linework covering the whole skull.
Nothing on this case is printed. The full design is laser-engraved directly into the liquid silicone shell in its own colour, so it reads as a fine tonal texture rather than ink — it won't fade, crack or peel, and it's completely smooth to the touch. Inside, a soft fleece lining protects the phone's back panel and camera lenses, and the matte, soft-touch silicone gives a cushioned, anti-slip grip.
