The Design
In Chile, Santa is the Viejito Pascuero — 'the little old man of Christmas' — and Christmas arrives in the middle of the southern summer. This design shows him in a soft, needle-felted style holding a bunch of copihue, the red bell-shaped national flower that stands for love and unity, with the snow-capped Andes behind him and a pan de pascua fruit loaf at his feet.
The case is made with IMD in-mold decoration: the printed film is fused into the shell during molding, so the artwork sits under a smooth glossy surface instead of on top of it — it won't scratch off, fade or peel with daily use. The design doesn't stop at the back edge; it wraps continuously around the curved side frame, so the case reads as one piece of art from every angle.
A fine silver glitter lining sits inside the shell and catches the light through the clear areas. One large camera cutout is protected by a raised clear lip, and the buttons are open cutouts — no metal frames to tarnish.
