The Design
The poinsettia is native to Mexico, where it is called Nochebuena (the Aztecs knew it as cuetlaxóchitl) and is the country's defining Christmas flower. Here a bouquet is tied with an oversized velvet bow, under a seven-point piñata from the Las Posadas celebrations and a string of papel picado, over Talavera tile patterns redrawn in wine red and cream.
The case is made with IMD in-mold decoration: the printed film is fused into the shell during molding, so the artwork sits under a smooth glossy surface instead of on top of it — it won't scratch off, fade or peel with daily use. The design doesn't stop at the back edge; it wraps continuously around the curved side frame, so the case reads as one piece of art from every angle.
A fine silver glitter lining sits inside the shell and catches the light through the clear areas. One large camera cutout is protected by a raised clear lip, and the buttons are open cutouts — no metal frames to tarnish.
