The Design
Every April, Seville hosts Andalusia's grandest spring festival: strings of colourful paper lanterns and triangular bunting light up entire streets, and the city dances until dawn for a week straight. It's less a single event than a collective expression of identity — 'celebration as identity' is how locals describe it. This case paints that festival sky full-bleed, lanterns glowing against a warm dusk gradient with palm silhouettes below.
The scene is printed in full colour directly onto the shell, then sealed under a specialty UV-cured resin coating for a glossy, dimensional finish. Iridescent, star-shaped glitter flakes are scattered through the sky area of the clear resin body — static, not liquid — and the soft-base body underneath stays firm and solid to the touch.
