The Design
El Drac, the mosaic salamander at Park Güell, is one of Antoni Gaudí's most photographed works — a whimsical creature covered in fragments of broken ceramic, glass and tile in the Trencadís technique that defines Barcelona's Catalan Modernisme. This case renders the salamander in full, saturated colour rather than a flat single-tone silhouette, closer to how the original mosaic actually reads in the sun.
The design is printed in full colour directly onto the shell, then sealed under a specialty UV-cured resin coating that gives it a glossy, dimensional finish — not a flat print and not laser engraving.
