The Design
The sarape from Saltillo is one of Mexico's best-known textiles — a woven blanket built around a central diamond medallion flanked by symmetrical zigzag and chevron stripes. Originally carried entirely by contrasting colour, the composition is translated here into pure linework, keeping the structure while suiting the smaller, single-tone canvas of a phone case back.
