The Design
Talavera is Puebla's centuries-old glazed-ceramic craft, added to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2019, and one of the most instantly recognisable expressions of Mexican handmade design — found on tiles across homes, courtyards and building facades nationwide. This case renders a classic Talavera composition, a symmetrical floral medallion inside a geometric border, as engraved linework.
The pattern is laser-engraved directly into the shell in its own colour, not printed, so it reads as a fine tonal texture that won't fade, chip or peel, and stays completely smooth to the touch. Inside, a soft fleece lining guards the phone's back panel and camera, and the matte, soft-touch silicone gives a cushioned, anti-slip grip.
