The Design
The Wayuu are Colombia's largest Indigenous group, based on the Guajira Peninsula. Their handwoven mochila bags carry geometric motifs called kanás, each one a symbolic shorthand for the cosmos, a flower, an animal or an idea — a personal visual language passed from mother to daughter. This case reproduces that geometry in the mochila's own saturated palette, rather than flattening it into a generic tribal pattern.
The pattern is printed in full colour directly onto the shell, then sealed under a specialty UV-cured resin coating for a glossy, dimensional finish — not a flat print and not laser engraving. Genuine gold foil glitter is set throughout the clear resin body, catching the light without moving or shifting like a liquid glitter case, and the soft-base body underneath stays firm and solid to the touch.
