The Design
The poinsettia, Nochebuena in Mexico, is native to the country and the flower of its Christmas. The print ties bouquets of it with velvet bows and surrounds them with seven-point star piñatas, papel picado banners and Talavera tile motifs — the look of the Posadas held in the nine nights before Christmas.
The blanket is built in three layers: a printed polyester pongee top with a light sheen, a polyester wadding middle for a soft seat, and a black Oxford-fabric back that hides grass and dust. Both sides are diamond-quilted, and a black binding runs around the edge.
At the middle of one short edge sits a rounded flap with a black webbing handle. Fold the blanket into a flat square, close the flap over it with the hook-and-loop strip, and carry it like a bag. Size 150 × 200 cm; MOQ 100 pcs per design.
